Sustainability
through Paperless Receipts
According
to USA Today, many stores and banks are now offering to email shopper receipts
to their customers, rather than handing them a printed copy.
Apple, Wells Fargo and Macy’s offer E-receipts saying that
they save paper, time and allow retailers to market directly to customers.
Rick Kilmer of the company FLOR, which sells carpet squares,
says that paperless receipts have become a, “no-brainer,” for shoppers since
sustainability is a large part of our culture.
